Then a Child Approached the Philosopher
They had gone seven days without drinking water, surviving only on a liquid from fruit. Fisher claimed that he was now officially hallucinating. He saw pools of pristine water in the road. Venus saw fountains spouting out of concrete. They became so parched that they finally agreed that their course of action had been insane. Almost fainting, they leaned against each other and succumbed to oblivion.
