The Importance of Trust Trade Offs in Scaling Solutions
I think part of the poor marketing around it wasn't helped by exactly that use case. The wider perception about what it's even for is almost entirely wrong. In most cases you should lean into whatever the trust trade offs are so that you're not blindsided down the line. There's obviously a huge amount of trust with the way the federation works.
