Diagnostic Criteria for Autism and DHD
When someone's going through a diagnostic evaluation, it's really important to try and tease apart what is coming from where. Two people can present with the exact same behavior, but there could be two totally different things driving that behavior or our generating that behavior. For both of these things, all the criterion constructs were going to go through for someone to receive a diagnosis, they actually have to be evident in that person from childhood throughout. So without being said, let's dive into the autism diagnostic criteria.
