The Big, Big Owl, the Lechusa

When I was a teenager, I was about 16 maybe so I was about 15, 16 years ago. A friend or neighbor said that one time she was really, really sick and this huge, huge owl would come and perch by the window on a tree. And would cackle and laugh and laugh until her in Spanish to just scratch yourself, scratch because the lady said that whatever was all over her body, the rash was really,really itchy. They believed that this witch was a lechusa, had cursed her and was mocking her through the window. So he started to curse at it, you know, cuffs and curries and he said, you're supposed to curse
