Napoleon Bonaparte's Life at Brienne

In 1784 Napoleon Bonaparte began his freshman year at Brienne. He was only 14 going on 15, but all of a sudden adulthood came knocking. Like all the graduating cadets, he studied feverishly for the exit exams in September. The students were only teenagers, but their paths in life would be largely dictated by the results.
