When i first heard kid a and amnesiac back in the early two thousands, it stopped me in my tracks. This group of english musicians seemed to understand my anxiety about the world that awaited me. I went from being a child to an adult at the same time the twentieth century turned into the 20 first. For many of us in america, everything felt possible, yet very little felt right. And with every listen to those albums, i felt like i could better articulate the feelings that i struggled to find words to describe.
