Cognitive Penetrability

Theory seems to affirm cognitive penetrability in spades. Gary Lupian has a pay vote on this and Petra Feta and Elbert Niven have argued exactly as I do that here we get cognitive penetrable. The idea is more that it's, it's sort of like a little bit of sensory penetration into the internal model. And if you rely on your prior learning in situations where you're not quite certain about what to do, then you don't know if you can trust the sensory input at all. So there are some implications for epistemology which need to be dealt with.
