Black Elk's Guides to Heaven

Black Elk told his daughter that by guides he had been the dying babies he baptized when he worked as a catechist. He said elders should be reverent for their eyes would soon see again their creator. Black Elk also said that God would do something in the sky as a sign that he was on his way to heaven. The day after he died, while people were attending his wake, something did happen in the sky. We don't usually see the northern lights here. And the whole sky was just all brilliant.
