Becoming a Christian does not eliminate disappointments from your life. The Psalms are saying, God, I can't believe you're acting this way. Author and Bible teacher Lisa Tucker said it like this: When God's timing seems questionable, his lack of intervention seems hurtful. If you give your life to Jesus today, is he going to fix it all? Probably not.
