What Is the Difference Between AGI and Autonomous Weapons?
The technology of autonomous weapons is much more similar to self-driving cars, except that in fact it's much easier because a self-driving car has to be 99.9999999% reliable. Autonomous weapon only has to work half the time. And I think that there are already weapons that qualify as lethal autonomous weapons. But each breakthrough creates the extra momentum that we need.
