The Evolution of the Federal Reserve Act

The Federal Reserve has to deal through the open market. There's usually between 18 and 30 of these mega brokerage houses and they can't be banks. They're all under a corporate umbrella where they're actually conforming to the Federal Reserve Act's guidelines by not being a bank but they've got a bank connected with them that's part of the same corporation. But it creates asset bubbles. It pushes interest rates down when they purchase bonds. And that causes things that cause the stock. In the book I showed in chapter four, which is online by the way.
