Mohamed Salah asks why football is so popular in South America and Europe, but less in Asia and North America. He says people have been kicking balls around for thousands of years; it's not something that was invented by one nation exactly. In England, a lot of people believe that England is the home of football: "I've got fairly good sort of reason for why football may have originated in England" But he doesn't think we were the first to kick a ball around - although there are some very old traditions involving medieval games.
