I feel like a lot of things are not thinking about the student and what they know already. So I try to throw in, you know, memes, humor, everything, but make it fun, like, and also make examples that make sense to the person. One bug bear of mine is introducing a new concept or a new definition with no intuition. This happens a lot in pure maths. It's just like glam definition. Here's a thing. Loads of symbols. Why?
