Is Nuclear Energy Safe?
The death rate per terawatt hour is a measure of how many deaths there are per energy produced from different power plants. It doesn't take into account climate change or any other bad things that fossil fuels do. So nuclear is comparatively safe by most objective measures compared to the other ways we have making electricity particularly making it with fossil fuels.
