A set of five squats is way, wy, way more of a source of systemic fatigue and inflammation than are 20 iv snatch doubles. A guide that cannot with a 38 inch vertical is going to be able to recruit more motor units into a into a snatch, into a heavy snatch, than a guy with a 24 inch vertical. That's the difference in what you're looking at when you’re looking at a standing vertical jump. How many motor units can you recruit into contraction in a quarter of a second? Is what the standing vertical jump measures. This will show up in your snatch. You'll snatch more on day one than the guy that doesn't, ok?
