Is a Concentrated Portfolio Good for Millennial Investors?
In a concentrated portfolio, you're going to have more volatility if you take the 50 cheapest stocks in the market. And it's not just going to be volatile, it's going to have a ton of tracking air. So that type of concentrated portfolio probably isn't good for someone that's closer to retirement. The theoretically sound and probably more reliable approach for a young investor wanting higher expected returns is to use leverage.
