Keir Starmer’s recognition of Palestine has been hailed by Hamas as a victory for its cause. The anti-Semitic army has thanked the UK prime minister for rewarding the 7 October pogrom, the deadliest day for Jews since the Nazi Holocaust. Starmer’s gambit, he says, will do nothing for ordinary Palestinians and will not bring an end to the war in Gaza. It will only embolden those committed to Israel’s destruction.
