The Social Democratic Party and the Nazis
Around a decade had passed since the german revolution began in 19 18, when sailors mutinied and workers went on strike. Workers kept pushing for more, until eventually they were crushed by the new social democratic government. The right wing para military free corps massacred workers, socialists, communists and anarchists who attempted to push beyond the bounds of moderate reform within a capitalist economy. Their victims famously included revolutionary socialists rose luxemburg and karl liebnicht. Much of the free corp would later become part of the narcy party and turn on their former master, the social democrats.
