"I love this simple heart-breaking beautiful poem by Jenny Mitchell. It's from a book called Resurrection of a Black Man and that book portrays male family dynamics," she says. The final section looks particularly at her uncle, who was murdered for being gay. "We get to know him throughout a variety of the poems... Some of them are really painful and some of them arereally tender."
