The Celestial Clock
In the first 500 years of the monument being in existence, about a hundred and 50 people were buried there as cremations. The fact that it lines up with the solstice suggests that people are gathering there at those particular times of the year. There's no kind of evidence of feasting or pottery or fires going on. But so we only have the stones to tell us really what the monument is about.
