Are You Going to Move You to Another Cell?
Luke appropriates 10 whole chapters from end of chapter 9 to the end of chapter 19. It's this large section on Jesus moving from Galilee to Jerusalem. Luke is saying that here is Yahweh marching his people through this highway and they are going to arrive in the promised land. But here's the thing though, they get to Jerusalem. And it's very difficult, lots of confusion. So it's an interesting way for him to talk about Jesus' death in terms of an Exodus. That is he's really there in the cross bearing God's wrath and then ascension at Transfiguration when we see Moses and Elijah talking with Jesus.
