The Parable of the Importunate Wife
Luke offers us the commentary right at the very beginning, the interpretive clue. He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and despise others. We pray trusting in ourselves and our own righteousness and despising others. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.
