The Machine Learning Researcher, You Know, Is Aristotle?
In the first chapter of my book manuscript, i point to all the places where machine learning researchers make direct reference to philosophers. I think it's already there, all over the place in the computer science. Ah, you know, going from those quick references to the original source materials and then trying to charitably interpret what those authors were really trying to say is some of the speed bumps come in. But that's one of the things i try to do with my own work, is point to some of the secondary literature that i think is interpreting that, ah, original ce material in the most useful way for current challenges in machine learning.
