The by-Election of the Labour Party in Scotland
This is a significant by-election for the reasons that you've set out. We don't know what the result is going to be, and we shouldn't predict it. But this tells us about the state of where the parties are in Scotland at the moment. A Scottish violation always has a much bigger freesaw because of the visceral dislike between Labour and the SNP. And yet, will some SNP voters hold their noses to give Labour a signal for the election? We shall see.
