Test Automation - Why Should We Automate Testing?

Test automation and manual testing have a lot of differences, not everything that is appropriate for manual testing is appropriate for test automation. Test automation cannot say whether the UI looks good or if it's easy to use but on the other hand you can typically cover edge cases which in manual testing may be harder or invisible. Fast feedback helps developers fix the code and create more higher quality code instead of just finding the bugs at the end of the process.
