Copy Editing - Are You Putting the Processes That You Know Into Action?

A friend of John's asked him how often he puts the processes that he knows intrinsically into action. She said, these are th processes of your teaching. Why aren't you applying them yourself? It was a really tough question, but i loved her for asking it. And so when i actually stopped and went back to those fundamental one o one points  here's another thing i do. Oftentimes, if it's a very detailed story, i'll print it out,. I'll go through and high with a holl out of pen every name, age, place, location, date, fact et cetera.
