China-Africa Education Relationship
The China-Africa education relationship has really been on hold for much of the past three years since the pandemic. Prior to the pandemic, about 60,000 African students every year went to go study in China. There were 26,000 foreign doctoral candidates enrolled in Chinese universities and get this. 6,000 of those PhD students were from African countries. That's almost a quarter.
