The Power of Israel in the Middle East

In 1975, the UN General Assembly designated Zionism as a form of racism and racial discrimination. However, this resolution was repealed in 1991 by replacing resolution 3379 with resolution 46 slash 86. This motion was supported by 111 nations, including the 90 nations who had sponsored it in the first place. And it was opposed by 25 nations and abstained by 13 nations. It also just illustrates the power that Israel has always kind of held as far as a political state in world affairs.
