The Story of Magarita Zella
After her mother's death, Magarita Zella was sent to live with her godfather and his wife in the small Dutch town of Sneek. Within a year, she had been dismissed from the institution under upsetting circumstances. She would later meet Rudolph McCloud, a captain in the Dutch colonial army, twenty years her senior. The story sometimes gets presented like it was Mata Hari's first seduction.
