The Consequences of Recognizing Contributors Without Code

I agree with Naomi that we want to keep things focused on, you know, as close to a gift economy as we can. But sometimes when you start talking about recognition, there's a concern that people will try to make a code for their contribution just so they can sort of see what I do or how to sign on them on the resume. So that is that is a concern. The larger issue is that by recognizing, by increasing the recognition of these people who are making contributions, it also allows you to highlight the areas of need within your project.
