The Military Is a Subset of Society
In the military, we see a disproportionate number of heroes. When asked why they do it, what i've heard is that many say, because they would have done it for me. And the military men and women seem to have an amazingly high level of trust in each other. Are these simply better human beings that go into the military, or do you build that in the military? No, it's the reality is the military is a subset of society. So when you look in a mirror or you look at your military, you should see part of your society there. They're no better and they're no worse than society.
