The Role of Rest in Somatics

The physiology of rest is the openness. I have to let down my guard. If rest includes sleep, I have to feel safe becoming unconscious. These are really vulnerable states to be in when the body doesn't think that's a safe option. So we want to kind of slowly move into rest as a state of defenselessness. What's our relationship with pausing, not building, not creating, not doing? And just feeling into it, we won't take any chats. Just so we can notice how unconscious these states are related to rest.
