Is Raising Rates Going to Affect Commodity Shortages?

The return of sporting events, festivals and other indemand gatherings has resulted in a higher demand for accommodation. Prices for accommodation rose about 50 % fom from a year ago. Raising rates isn't ano effect any of that. So it might affect no elements of our discretionary spending, but the underlying commodity shortages that are a result of a decade plus under investment. If not, it's going to make it worse.
