The Cinema in Person Is Capturing Audiences
The problem with captive audiences is, like, if you have this kind of a herd of people who will go to the cinema at some kind of, like, statistically predictable level. The only thing that really makes sense for that is the kind of te most generic common denominator stuff. And so now that we have that economic situation for the production of content, the mics, for getting actual physical bodies into buildings to watch these works it doesn't work.
