Refugees in the United States

i do think we have a huge empathy gap when it comes to a the refugee experience whether it's syria or rack afghanistan. The thing that struck me the most was that people were not angry at the united states, at least the people i spoke to, they were very grateful. And while there have been crimes committed by asylum seekers in europe,  there have also been crimes committedby refugees in the us. Their crimes should be prosecuted as crimes, and they should not be seen as flective of some entire community. We are prone to being afraid of things that we don't understand, of people we don’t understand,. Of people who are different from
