I think it depends on the kinds of issues we're talking about. I do tend to lean left on the social and cultural issues. On those issues that would code me, left of center. But I'm actually reasonably conservative on fiscal issues. So your book, your work in general, your perspective on history is, at least from my perspective, nonpartisan.
