Introduction

There's a new list on our website by Andy Green called 50 Genuinely Horrible Albums by Brilliant Artists. I did notice some commonalities between these albums. One of them is contractual obligations. A lot of bands at the end of their run that owed one more record and just kind of shat one out. They'd see Rod Stewart or Steve Winwood or Elton John with these giant hits that are on MTV and they wanted that too.
