I've Put Away Your Sin

Solomon is the first king to engage in idolatry, and it just goes downhill from here. When you start worshiping other gods, you don't have any place to go get your sins wiped away. And what happens is all this builds up over time until finally after several generations, the temple is going to be so polluted with idolatry that the god will simply say, oh, I'm out and he'll leave. The Northern Kingdom is going to been lost very soon, but the Southern Kingdom isgoing to be lost as well.
