The Roman Concept of Freedom
The Romans were against, were very much like the Republicans or President Biden today. They don't want to spend money on public services or social spending. So it's up to the wealthy people to decide who to support and how much to support. That whole spirit of charity was their alternative to public responsibility. And we certainly don't want that because look where that led to, that led to democracy. You've got to have autocracy. We're for the freedom of the creditor to in debt the debtor. That was the Roman concept of freedom. It is becoming once again the concept of freedom throughout the West.
