I'm curious what your level of optimism is about the state of the world, because it seems like the vaguest nerve of the species is insufficiently activated. The sympathetic nervous system is just, in modern life, aroused all the time, which oddly makes us quite unsympathetic and compassion abroad in the land. I am very optimistic.
