The Mysticism in Science Fiction
So much of the most successful science fiction is deeply mystical. Why do you think that is? And em, yes bhat, why this mystical thread? And is it geting stronger? Perhaps it is getting stronger as well. The evolutionary argument would be we have some deep kind of evolutionary need for these mystical stories. They're playing some role, i i tend to think, and my ideas around this are still forming.
