The Conservative Tradition in India
I don't know what it means to have a tradition in a Berkean sense but let me just kind of respond the way I think it makes sense is that we do have a conservative tradition. For example if you read I mean even if you were to think about the 20th century thinkers on this some like say Karpathrimaraj or someone like Sri Rajagopalachari so you will see these ideas you know. So there are these traditions that exist I mean in Indian intellectual thought also. If you were to go back you can find different ways in which they found expression at different points in our history.
