The Importance of Beauty in Life

I had a lot of... When I went to Paris in 2019, I had some nice religious experiences. And the Catholics really do have the monopoly on aesthetic beauty. You expect it's going to be nice, and you've seen art before, and then you're just floored by the sublime. Looking at the Sistine ceiling is unreal. It could imagine. We're all so, like, cynical and hard-boiled. Like, we're like, I don't need to go there. And then you pay, like, the fee and go in, and you're just, like, floored by ... almost tears coming to my eye.
