The Story of Abraham
Abraham, as his name was at first, was a dude who had a wife named Sarai. He was living with his father and his half-sister slash wife Sarai and his nephew Lot. And the story goes, he was instructed by God to leave the lands of his forefathers and travel to another land which God would indicate to him. In return for his blind obedience, Abram was promised that he would be the father of a whole parcel of children,. A unique promise because Sarai was his only wife and she was reportedly infertile.
