We have a propensity to thinking after we see or understand one cause of an effect. Aham's razor is a famous example when there's a complicated explanation and a simple explanation, let's assume the simple explanation is right. There really is a bias toward simplicity. Think what this is really about is just understanding how cause and effect works.
