Social Prescribing in Greater Manchester
Greater manchester is the only city region designated age friendly. We are also becoming a centre for social prescribing. Andy burnham calls the city a test tube because it hasn't been done elsewhere. He's really trying to find ways of improving people's health and well being that just doesn't add to, you know, the budget for popping pills and paying for medicines.
