Isn't Abj'a a Solipsism?
I think what we find at those impasses is precisely this encounter with dusting, and there's something maybe better about that as a formulation for that impasse than abj'a. It should be a goal of the podcast to get the two of them in the same room, talk about it. And so maybe that would be the real goal, to think them together. We should co-write that, the Melville essay then, that that's thing is a whale.
