Is God Not Giving Us the Resources for Our Growth?

I think sometimes in the way that we approach growing as a believer, you're kind of waiting for that zap from heaven. Obeying god requires self discipline. It doesn't mean it's not him doing it through you, but you have to act. You have to get off the couch and having a plan of attack. I just think, i don't know, i'm not aware of very many people talking about those sorts of subjectsand. That's one of the things that really attracts me to your writing. And so then to overcome some of these sins and these problems that we find ourselves ind we want to go back to what has got us into this position.
