Is There a Strong Emergence in the Cor?
Strong emergence would happen when you have a microscopic theory that has some constituents, right? That it has some entities that play fundamental roles in that theory. And there's a set of rules that works for describing what happens to those constituents in circumstances where there's just a few of them. But the strong emergence would be the case whereyou get many, many a constituents interacting with each other and then they behave differently. So i do think t there's a sense in which it can be a useful concept. It might be very useful in different contexts, just not in the context of particles.
