Methane is never formed in the presence of seaweed. The hydrogen and carbon molecules that normally come together when you're fermenting grass never come together. Cows who eat the seaweed do burp more hydrogen, but it's not a greenhouse gas. Two studies have sene measurable, even double digit gains in feed conversion efficiency.
